The story A “Rose for Emily” was about a woman named Emily who was rather insane. From what it seemed like she didn’t have to many friends because one people talked about her but never really hung around her, also probably because they thought that she was a little to weird for them. She was married to a man named Homer Barren, and one day decided to go to a store to buy some poison. Emily went up to the druggist and asked for poison, and it was available but you had to give the reason for why you’d want poison, as the druggist ask the reason why Emily wanted the poison wanted to know the reason why she wanted poison because you can’t just give it out, Emily just stared at him and he knew then not to ask anymore questions. When he came back out he gave her the poison and it had written on it, for rats.

For the longest of time no body had seen Emily until several years later and she was much older. When ever Emily had died neighbors went into the house to see what was in there and what was going on. When ever they went into her room they saw that her husband was next to her, finding out that she had killed her husband and that he was lying dead next to her while she was alive.

You have a summary, but lack identifying the parts of plot such as the climax. You are missing an entry on "Faulkner and Prejudice" assigned for Friday as well.
