I don’t think that William Faulkner was raciest. The reason why I think that he isn’t racist is because growing up back in those kind of days you where used to calling blacks by that name. To them it wasn’t racist it was just simply how you’d call them, that was there name in that time, and that’s who they where back at the time, because blacks did not have any freedom. I guess you could call him resist but in my opinion he was not. How can you call someone resist if you teach them your ways, it was how he was taught, and if you grow up in that kind of environment then that’s what you’re going to accept. Now going up and knowing better that, that was a racist remark maybe he could of not used it in his stories, but I think he choose to just because he was used to what they where called and wanted to show also what they where called back then so people could realize and see what was going on back in that time. I mean it’s just a word why take it serious? I mean when people call me racial remarks I just shrug it off really I do, it’s just a word and if you’re going to take it that serious then you have too much of a temper.

Summery

  • Mood: Sad! i miss Nick!
  • Music: Come home Soon By Shedaisy

The story A “Rose for Emily” was about a woman named Emily who was rather insane. From what it seemed like she didn’t have to many friends because one people talked about her but never really hung around her, also probably because they thought that she was a little to weird for them. She was married to a man named Homer Barren, and one day decided to go to a store to buy some poison. Emily went up to the druggist and asked for poison, and it was available but you had to give the reason for why you’d want poison, as the druggist ask the reason why Emily wanted the poison wanted to know the reason why she wanted poison because you can’t just give it out, Emily just stared at him and he knew then not to ask anymore questions. When he came back out he gave her the poison and it had written on it, for rats.

For the longest of time no body had seen Emily until several years later and she was much older. When ever Emily had died neighbors went into the house to see what was in there and what was going on. When ever they went into her room they saw that her husband was next to her, finding out that she had killed her husband and that he was lying dead next to her while she was alive.

Fairness

  • Mood: Falling in love!
  • Music: something from the band Him

I had to read the lady and the Tiger by Frank R. Stockton and the Lottery by Shirley Jackson in my Creative Writing class. We where support to compare think compare fairness to both of the stories, and talk about what we thought was fair or not, I had thought that The lady and the Tiger was fair however I didn’t think that The Lottery was and the next two paragraph’s I state my reasons why I think so…

When I had read Lady and the Tiger  I really didn’t think about fairness. Like I guess it was kind of fair that he had to pick which door that the lady was In because he had been with the king’s daughter without him knowing and He could have done it the right way by asking the King’s daughter even though The king probably wouldn’t of let him anyway, but still it might of happened if he would of jus asked. So I thought that it was fair enough that if he was going to mess around with the king’s daughter then he should have had to pick which door she was in.

In the Lottery I didn’t think it was fait that people where getting stoned to death. Why would you kill someone with stones to make a crop grow? You should very well know that something that stupid would not work! That’s murder and god doesn’t go for murder right? Well there yea go. Plus even though everyone had to pick from the lottery that still wasn’t fair that whenever one person picks the paper with the dot on it your family has to go again and see who picks the piece of paper what family would bear to see there loved one getting stoned to death? That’s why I didn’t think it was right.

This paragraph that’s about the conclusion I started out when an opening. Then I talked about the Lady and the Tiger and The Lottery, and which one’s I had thought was fair. I thought that the Land and The Tiger were fair but then the Lottery wasn’t.

Lonely

  • Mood: Heart Broken!
  • Music: Backstreet Boys, Incomplete

Lonely

Lying beneath the stars

On that cold October night, she

Never felt so lonely in her life.

Every day of her life feels like unholy hell, as she

Lost the love of her life.

You can’t imagine how lonely and heart broken she must feel…

Broken

  • Mood: Irritated
  • Music: Photograph by Nickleback

Broken

Broken like shattered glass she tries not to

Remember who he was.

Oh how it hurts to just lie there in pain.

Knowing the loss she never wanted to gain.

Every day she blames all her hurt on him.

Nothing else mattered in her heart but him.

Getting away from thoughs

Trying to be diffterent and dark.
hating all around them as
It makes them sick to see bright colors.
carless of what people think of them.
